Kendra and David are a beautiful, outgoing and enthusiastic couple. They’re wonderful people to be around simply because of the energy the give off. They clearly have a zest for life that many of us can learn from. Needless to say, they’re always up for a hike or an outdoor adventure, and we recently had the pleasure of having them spend the weekend with us in Bozeman.

On our pre-Super Bowl hike, it was obvious that David was much more shy in front of the camera then Kendra, but we wanted to get a shot of both of them. Not a smiling “look at the camera… ok … cheese!” type of shot – but one that really captured their personalities, their playfulness and their relationship to each other.

They clearly have a zest for life that many of us can learn from.

When the light was right, and after everyone had a chance to warm up (both in front of the camera and behind it), we paused for a quick shot. Angel must have blurted out something funny – right on queue – and all I had to do was capture the moment at 1/1000 of a second.

The moment I captured was a perfect representation of Kendra and David: Smiling, laughing and loving life. David, slightly shy and slightly out of frame, and Kendra, center stage and seizing the moment.
